Nuremberg´s World of Nightlife is once again ready to celebrate and have fun after its extensive make over. The redesign was successful thanks to the exeptional planning of Designgroup Professional GmbH, wich were able to spice up the location with fresh ideas and new concepts. As experts in the field of club design, installation, and renovation. The Designgroup team quickliy recognised the huge potential of the World of Nightlife with its large areas and developed the basic concept around this. Originally an old train station, the planning team focused on the building´s history by making in the leading theme. Up to this point, a more mainstream approch had been taken, wich ignored the character of a train station. The entrance area is reminiscent of a typical train station. Brick walls and the silhouette of a train are visible at first sight and welcome visitors upon entry. But when visitors enter the disco for the first time, their first impression is mainly affected by the lively colour and light spectacle taking place on the ceiling.

The centre of the area includes the Tower Bar with its various shapes, translucent fronts, and the Tower itself - a five metre-high, square construction over its environment, also displaying constant colour changes. Four ´double-track´ Pixelwall bridges arise from the tower and spread freely troughout the area along the ceiling. Representing stylised rails, they form a perfect guidance system that leads visitors directly to the various main floors, in the fastest way possible. The unique and remarkable light object contains 1,296 three-dimensional pixels. Eight pixels each were placed onto a specific profile and located individually in the strand of one of the bridges. In total they form four individual Pixelwalls. A standard PC runs  the installation using MADRIX. Labelled as the industry standard by many, Designgroup happly turns to the control software when it comes to direction of Pixelwall lighting objects. In addition to the software, prepared light effects as well as videos and cutscenes in AVI file format are delivered together with the LED technology so that the installation can be handed over as functionally entity. Both owner and visitors benefit, as the fantastic visual design can be operated by users with minimal training.

The Geisha Lounge is a Japanese-style space, wich offers a relaxing ambience, away from the energetic nightlife. High-quality carpet prints with bamboo motifs adorn the ceiling, while the walls are purposefully decorated in soft shades of grey and red. In the main area, the focus of the redesign was entirely modern LED technology. A large number of Pixelwall modules can be admired in various types and shapes. Behind the bars, long and wide Pixelwall panels were placed to emphasise the main spots in the room. Equaliser effects in each and every pillar translucent fronts with format prints make the futuristic design complete. In order to find entertainment and diversion, partygoers can decide at wich station to leave the World of Nightlife train.
But one thing is for sure, each station is full of exiting details.
